Get the most out of your Health Cover with ArchRite Podiatry

Get the best value for your health cover

Private health insurance is an investment in your health. But, how can you get the best value from your health cover and all the benefits it offers – particularly around podiatry? At ArchRite Podiatry, we get asked this question a lot, so we’ve created a list of handy tips for our clients and their families.

Get a medical pedicure

Medical pedicures are a great way to maintain foot health. These pedicures are finished off with PC nail oil on your nails and cuticles and Akileine foot cream. They are a non-invasive clinical procedure combining foot and nail care. If you have Ancillary or Extra’s cover that includes Podiatry you will get a rebate on this special treat for your feet.

Start healthy foot habits early

Are your kids covered for podiatry under your health insurance policy? If so, take advantage of that!

Get your kid’s feet checked this school holidays; bring their school and sports shoes into ArchRite Podiatry for an assessment and review. Kids are hard on shoes and kids grow quickly – so make sure their shoes are giving them the support they need. Or bring your kids in for a check of their foot and leg health. Tight muscles and flat feet can cause pain in growing bodies; we can give your kids the tools to navigate these issues and start lifelong habits for healthy and happy feet.

Schedule regular podiatry appointments

Regular visits with our podiatry team – even when you have no injuries or problems – means our team can examine your feet and identify problems before they begin. After all, prevention is better than cure!

Most health care funds offer podiatry coverage as part of their extra’s and additional coverage.
